(occlusion treatment)

• goal: contact, mobility and balance in the dentition of the horse
• the method uses the following steps:
  • preliminary report
  • examination and set up from a individual examination sheet
  • sedation appropriate to the processing time
  • creation of a physiological occlusion in the dentition (might need more then one treatment)
  • manual and sight check of the dentition at the end of the treatment
• in some cases aftertreatment threw a equine clinic or osteopathy could be necessary
• after the sedation a 2 hour abstinence from food is important!
